ONE PHOTOGRAPH, EVERY DAY

Visual Basic is a singular art project — photographs released one at a time, one per day, perpetually. There is no curation in advance, no editing schedule, no theme imposed from above. The frame is whatever appears on the day it appears.

This page is the daily window. The archive holds everything that has come before.

TODAY'S FRAME

Every frame published is listed here in reverse chronological order. Each one was the only photograph taken that day.

The anonymous photographer behind Visual Basic

Visual Basic is a study in slowness. The work is made one frame at a time, on the day it is dated, and it is published the same day. There is no archive of unused images. There is no second chance.

The rule is simple — one photograph per day. The constraint is the work.

  1. ONE PHOTO

One image per day. No alternates published. No retakes posted later.

  2. ORDINARY

Found, not staged. The day is the prompt and the prompt is whatever the day brings.

  3. SLOW

The site loads one frame at a time. Browse the archive. Sit with each one.
